ATTORNEY GENERAL'S OFFICE,

6th August, 1890.

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance, entitled

"The Waterworks Ordinance, 1890"

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the

Governor's Instructions.

This Ordinance has been passed to provide for and

regulate the supply of Water to the City of Victoria from certain works lately constructed. It provides for
